TOP KETO SNACKS

Top Keto Snacks for Busy Breastfeeding Mamas!

This top keto snack list is perfect for all the breastfeeding and busy keto mamas! 

These are some of my top grab-and-go snacks. So you can still be running around doing your “mom work” and still keto on!

#1) Fat Bombs  

These are a MUST in my freezer! These are the perfect thing to grab and satisfy my sweet tooth. They are packed with healthy fats so they will keep you full and satisfied! Plus, there are SO many fun recipes to try!

#2) Keto Lactation Cookies

These cookies are perfect for a quick grab and go to fulfill your hunger and increase your milk supply! I always keep a batch in my freezer ready to grab. Get the recipe HERE (Also, make sure to download my top 5 Lactation Recipe eBook!)

#3) Chocolate

Lily’s Chocolates or ChocZero are my favorite brands because they are sweetened with stevia! (Use code KETOBREASTFEEDINGCOACH for 10% off)

#4) Hard Boiled Eggs

Hard-boiled eggs are packed with protein and healthy fats. Make a batch on Sunday then you can easily grab them throughout the week. My favorite ways to cook eggs are with my Insta Pot or this cool Hard Boiled Egg Maker!

#5) Berries

When starting keto, cutting out fruit can be hard. But, you do NOT have to cut out all fruit. Look for low glycemic fruits like blackberries, strawberries, and blackberries. Serve them with some yummy coconut cream for the perfect treat!

#6) Nuts and Seeds

Macadamia Nuts have become my absolute favorite nuts to grab because they are high in healthy fats and lower in carbs. But there are so many nuts and seeds out there that will give you a great nutritional boost in your day.

#7) Beef Jerky and Beef Sticks

This is another quick snack that is full of protein. Just make sure to look for a brand that isn’t full of fillers and preservatives!

#8) Coffee or Tea with Coconut Oil or MCT Oil

I use this one A LOT! If I need to up my healthy fats for the day or am feeling cravings come along grabbing a cup of tea or coffee is the perfect way to combat the craving. Give this one a try next time cravings hit! This one is my favorite lately: 

#9) Guacamole

Grab some low-carb veggies and start dipping away! Wholly Guacamole has some single-serve containers that I love to have in the house.  Also, these Fat Head Nachos from Ditch the Carbs are perfect to dip into the guacamole. Find the recipe HERE

#10) Organic Cheese Sticks

No, these are not just for kids! These are always in my fridge. Make sure to get the FULL FAT cheese stick.

#11) A Spoonful of Your Favorite Nut Butter

This was one of the first things I did when I started keto! I was so excited that I could have a spoonful of butter without it being “bad for you”. Also, add some Lily’s Chocolate Chips to it for the ULTIMATE treat!  *Make sure that the nut butter only has the nut + salt, no additional ingredients. Costco has both almond and peanut butter with no additional ingredients. This brand below from Amazon also is really yummy!

# 12) Lunch Meat

Wrap this around your cheese stick to combine 2 of these snacks together! *Make sure to look for Lunch Meat with no nitrates! AppleGate is my favorite brand of lunch meat.

#13) Plain Full Fat Greek Yogurt

Yogurt can still be higher in carbs so make sure to really look at the labels. My favorite way to have the yogurt is to mix some peanut butter, Lily’s chocolate chips, and stevia into the yogurt for a quick treat.

#14) Pork Rinds

Do you sometimes miss having your chips? These are a yummy way to get your crunch on and still stay keto. These are full of protein too.  I really like this brand:

#15) Zucchini Chips

Get some of your greens in for the day with these delicious Baked Garlic Parmesan by DietHood 

#16) Homemade Trail Mix

Mix up your favorite nuts and seeds along with coconut, cocoa nibs or Lily’s chocolate chips. (Can you tell they are my favorite?!?)
