Have you tried a bulletproof coffee yet? The first Bulletproof coffee recipe was invented by Dave Asprey and quickly became a staple in the keto community.
Having a keto coffee every morning is a great way to get in healthy fats and increase energy. As busy mamas, I know we all need that!
The original recipe just calls for butter and MCT oil. I love to add collagen into my cup as well. I know you will love this recipe and not miss your Starbucks coffee at all!

How Do you make bulletproof coffee?
Bulletproof Coffee
Ingredients
- 1 cup coffee
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon MCT
- 1 scoop collagen (optional)
- 2-3 drops liquid stevia (optional)
Instructions
- Place all ingredients into the warm cup of coffee. Take an immersion blender or milk frother and blend until well blended. Then enjoy 🙂
Notes
Make this coffee dairy-free by using ghee. (If tolerable) Or, coconut cream is a great option as well.

CAN I HAVE CAFFEINE WHILE BREASTFEEDING?
Yes, caffeine is usually safe while breastfeeding. Caffeine is recommended to be limited per day. The recommended amount is 300 milligrams of caffeine per day.
I also always suggest paying attention to your little one when you have it seeing trace amounts of caffeine is transferred. However, most babies aren’t affected but every baby is different.
You can always use decaf coffee instead and still enjoy this as a treat.
