Lactation Keto Vanilla Frappuccino
LACTATION KETO VANILLA FRAPPUCCINO
This lactation keto vanilla frappuccino is going to quickly become your favorite. This frappe recipe has the perfect amount of coffee to help boost energy and it tastes amazing.
The best part about this frappuccino is that it is full of lactation-boosting ingredients without all the added sugars and carbs.
What keto foods are in the this frappe that will help increase supply?
There are many keto foods that are a galactagogue, aka something that can help boost milk supply. Here are a few I included in this recipe:
- Flaxseed – flaxseed contains alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) and phytoestrogens that can help with milk supply. (2) Flaxseed is also nutrient-dense and full of omega 3 which also is so great while breastfeeding.
- Brewer’s Yeast – Brewer’s yeast is a superfood. It is packed with protein and is full of nutrients like iron, zinc, vitamin B, magnesium, and potassium. I recommend starting small with this one because it has a strong taste!
- MCT Oil – Many mamas wonder if MCT is safe while breastfeeding. Yes, it is! It’s a great way to boost your healthy fats and milk supply for the day. (3) Make sure to start slowly with MCT oil though, too much could cause digestive issues.

Can I have Caffeine While Breastfeeding?
Yes, caffeine is usually safe while breastfeeding. Caffeine is recommended to be limited per day. The recommended amount is 300 milligrams of caffeine per day.
I also always suggest paying attention to your little one when you have it seeing trace amounts of caffeine is transferred. However, most babies aren’t affected but every baby is different.
You can always use decaf coffee instead and still enjoy this as a treat.
Do lactation recipes really work?
Yes, keto lactation smoothies and other lactation recipes do really help with supply, if the recipes contain galactagogues. Every mama is different though on what galactagogues work for them.
How Long will it take to for the latation recipes to work?
This varies greatly from mama to mama. Some mamas see an instant increase in supply but others need to wait a couple of days. But, what better way to test it out to see if it works for you than when this yummy frappuccino above.
