These chocolate chip cookie dough lactation fat bombs are seriously so delicious. These fat bombs are the perfect breastfeeding snack that can help increase milk supply and satisfy those breastfeeding cravings when doing the keto and breastfeeding diet.
WHAT ARE FAT BOMBS?
Fat bombs are a staple for many mamas when doing the keto diet. Fat bombs are made with lots of healthy fats. They are a great way to increase your energy and help get those healthy fats into your day. They are a great tool in helping to lose the baby weight.
What keto foods are in the these fat bombs that will help increase supply?
There are many keto foods that are a galactagogue, aka something that can help boost milk supply. Here are a few I included in this Cookie Dough Lactation Fat Bombs recipe:
- Flaxseed – flaxseed contains alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) and phytoestrogens that can help with milk supply. (2) Flaxseed is also nutrient-dense and full of omega 3 which also is so great while breastfeeding.
- Brewer’s Yeast – Brewer’s yeast is a superfood. It is packed with protein and is full of nutrients like iron, zinc, vitamin B, magnesium, and potassium. I recommend starting small with this one because it has a strong taste!
- Almond Flour – Almonds are full of healthy fats, protein, calcium, and other nutrients. They also have a potential estrogenic activity that can help with milk supply.
Cookie Dough Lactation Fat Bombs
These Cookie Dough Lactation Fat Bombs will become your favorite breastfeeding snack to increase milk supply and satisfy those breastfeeding cravings.
Ingredients
- 1 Stick Butter – softened
- 1/3 cup Monk Fruit Sweetener
- 1/2 cup Peanut Butter
- 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1 cup Almond Flour
- 1/4-1/2 cup Ground Flaxseed
- 1 tsp Brewer’s Yeast
- 1/2 cup Lily’s Chocolate Chips
Instructions
- Place all ingredients besides the chocolate chips into a bowl and blend until well combined.
- Once well combined, stir in the chocolate chips.
- Place in 1 inch balls on a baking sheet, a cookie scooper works great for this.
- Place the baking sheet in the freezer at least a half hour before eating.
- Then Enjoy!
