Keto Pumpkin Spice Lactation Fat Bombs
Get ready for Fall with these pumpkin spice fat bombs. These are loaded with all the fall flavor without all the loaded junk that is in other fall treats.
Having these fat bombs in the house while doing keto while breastfeeding can help satisfy those breastfeeding cravings, increase milk supply and even give you a boost of energy.Â
What keto foods are in the this smoothie that will help increase supply?
There are many keto foods that are a galactagogue, aka something that can help boost milk supply. Here are a few I included in this recipe:
- Pumpkin – Pumpkin is an excellent food way to boost milk supply and is full of nutrients including potassium, beta-carotene, Vitamin A, C, and E. (1) Pumpkin is also full of antioxidants.Â
- Flaxseed – flaxseed contains alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) and phytoestrogens that can help with milk supply. (2) Flaxseed is also nutrient-dense and full of omega 3 which also is so great while breastfeeding.
- Brewer’s Yeast – Brewer’s yeast is a superfood. It is packed with protein and is full of nutrients like iron, zinc, vitamin B, magnesium, and potassium. I recommend starting small with this one because it has a strong taste!

Instructions
- Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
- Place all ingredients into a bowl and use a blender to blend well.
- Once well blended, use a cookie scooper to place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Place cookie sheet into the freezer for up to 1 hour or until frozen.
- Then enjoy. 🙂

- Store fat bombs in the freezer.
- Other great add-ins: crushed pecans, almonds, or white chocolate chips.

Is Pumpkin keto-friendly?
Yes, you can definitely have some pumpkin while doing the keto diet. Especially while breastfeeding. While breastfeeding most mamas have a higher carb tolerance.Â
